Remote VPN configuration authentication in AD

Hi,

We are using VPN client to connect to our network via internet. We are using local authentication method to authenticate the users. Local username and passwords have been configured.

Is it possible to redirect the authentication to AD server and get the authentication done using AD. We do not have dedicated TACACS server.

Any link on cisco.com ?

Please share the experience.

Hi sure you can,

The most common scenario is using a Microsoft server running Internet Authentication Service IAS and integrated in to Active Directory. Authentication is done using radius protocol instead of local. The link below will give you an idea.
