SDM hangs after Apply

I'm trying to configure the firewall on a Cisco 3825 router using Cisco SDM V2.5.

Every time I use the "Apply Changes" button my SDM software hangs and won't recover. I have to kill the process using the Windows Task Manager.

When I restart the software the changes are applied.

Does anybody know what is wrong?

I'm using a Windows XP SP2-Client, Java 1.6.0_04

Matter resolved.

I'v received information from Shankar Ramachandran who is the SDM product manager.

SDM is apparently end of life and is replaced by Cisco Configuration Professional CCP.

I've tried it out and have so far expierienced no problems with hanging or freezing. Works fine for me.

A drawback with CCP is, that you need full administrative rights on your PC, even after installation (I always get error messages that say, that CCP can't write into registry).
