when sessioned to the secondary fwsm version 2.3.4, is it normal not to see ip addresses when doing a "show ip" besides 127.0.0.81 and the failoverlink ip?

Hello,

It sounds like you don't have standby IP addresses configured for the interfaces. You can do this with the following command under the interface config:

ip address standby

When you configure those, you should see them listed in the 'show ip address' output.

Hope that helps.

I have all my ip address showing in the primary

System IP Addresses

           ip address eobc 127.0.0.81 255.255.255.0
        ip address inside 10.254.15.4 255.255.255.248
        ip address WiFi-Proxydmz 10.254.50.5 255.255.255.0
        ip address enterprisedmz 10.254.15.17 255.255.255.248
        ip address fimsdmz 10.254.36.1 255.255.255.0
        ip address failoverdmz 10.254.15.9 255.255.255.248

but if i am on the secondary, i only see:

System IP Addresses:
        ip address eobc 127.0.0.81 255.255.255.0
        ip address failoverdmz 10.254.15.9 255.255.255.248
Current IP Addresses:
        ip address eobc 127.0.0.81 255.255.255.0
        ip address failoverdmz 10.254.15.10 255.255.255.248

All my failover commands for secondary unit are in there.

Hi Manny,

Looks like we have a TAC case open for this together as well : ) Let's troubleshoot under the TAC case and we can post the answer for the rest of the folks once we get it solved.
