my main network is 10.9.2.XXX
i have sub networks ie. 10.2.x.x, 10.3.x.x, 10.4.x.x, and so on!
if i log into the 10.9.2.x network i can go into any sub network.
but if i connect my laptop to ANY sub network of course my ip gets that sub networks ip. but i cannot talk to another sub network.
ie. if i am on network 10.2.x.x and i want to print to the printer on 10.6.x.x i cannot?
any ideas?
I have attached a subnetworks config...

I assume that all have the same security level
the command below will allow communication between the subnets.(but it will support only on IOS 7.0 and above)
hostname(config)# same-security-traffic permit inter-interface

does this line need to go into the main 506 and all my 501 that connect to the 506?

It will be on the box on which the subinterfaces are created.

So i guess i need to update my pix506E to ios 7.0.
is taht coirrect?
