telnet, SSH,console are not working in Pix 515e(8.04 with 2 context)

Hi all,

We have 2 PIX 515e running in active-active having 2 context with 8.04 image version.

When connecting through console getting below error messages:

%PIX-3-210005: LU allocate connection failedAccording to Cisco, this error means the standby unit was not able to create a new connection for stateful failover. The recommendation is to verify that the system has enough RAM

Currently not able to login in any both of devices. and getting intermittent connection drop through the PIX.

I need help in resolving the issue.

Do you have console access? Any idea how many connections could be built? If you have no access, plus are having connectivity drops I would reload and then try to login and monitor. Make sure you have syslogs enabled also. Take a look at the conn count and xlate count. Go through syslogs and try to see if maybe there is virus activity or DoS activity on the network (Connection Built messages). The other possibility is that you are hitting some sort of memory leak. You may want to measure show mem output after reload and see if it gradually increases over time. Take a copy of the show tech also if you can before a reload (from console). May need to open a SR on this.
