I am upgrading from an ASA 5505 to ASA 5510.
I can save the config file on my desktop. But how do I then import that text file onto the ASA 5510?

I would configure the interfaces manually and then copy and paste the acls and other object-group config from the text file.

That is where I hit my probelm - I cannot remember how to paste it into the ASA 5510 (!)
I am using ASDM and I am sure I did it that way before? Or do I need to do it via command line?

Only the interface configuration is different in asa5505 and asa5510.
Yes, pls download putty.exe from google.
Use that to console to the asa5510 firewall.
Get to the enable prompt by typing "enable"
issue
conf t
and then copy paste.
