upgrade / downgrade ASA5520 between 7.2(2) & 8.0(2)

Hi,

I have 2 ASA5520 with VPN plus license, running A-A mode, the current OS version is 8.0(2). Do I need apply and install license while I downgrade it to 7.2(2), or upgrade from 7.2(2) to 8.0(2)?

hi,

i have never downgraded from 8 to 7.2 but have done it from 7.2 to 6.3(4) and it wasn't required to re-enter to install the licenses again.

nor when i upgraded from 6.3 to 7 and then 7.1 and 7.2(2).
