Hi, I need want to upgrade my asa from 7.2 to 8.4. Is there any conversion tool for the configuration or should I do it myself ?

When you upgrade it, it will automatically convert the configuration to the new version.
I would recommend that you upgrade to version 8.0 or 8.2 first before upgrading to version 8.4.
