Upgrading ASA 5505 to security plus

Hi Everyone,

 

I upgraded ASA 5505 to Security plus license.

i bought lic from ebay.

Here is part of ebay that shows after upgrade it should look like this

I applied the activation key and here is output after reboot

It does not enable anyconnect essentials any reason why?

Anyone selling an ASA license on eBay would be very suspect in my opinion.

ASA licenses must be installed, as you know via activation keys. Those keys are exclusive to a specific (by serial number) hardware unit. The activation-key must be generated by Cisco (or via the self-service cisco.com licensing portal).

If anyone sells you a key that hasn't been generated via that method, there's no telling what the outcome of applying it would be.
