Mahesh,Anyone selling an ASA

Mahesh,

Anyone selling an ASA license on eBay would be very suspect in my opinion.

ASA licenses must be installed, as you know via activation keys. Those keys are exclusive to a specific (by serial number) hardware unit. The activation-key must be generated by Cisco (or via the self-service cisco.com licensing portal).

If anyone sells you a key that hasn't been generated via that method, there's no telling what the outcome of applying it would be.
