My client is a small non-profit that purchased an ASA5505 through the Cisco donation program. They want to monitor employee web access which was one of the capabilities described for the device. I tried to find out about getting a half dozen licenses for SmartFilter, but the sales person is coming on strong about the "project and "budget". All the client want to do is keep track of who is accessing port 80 and which sites they are visiting.
Has anyone else been able to purchase a small number of SmartFilter licenses without having to start a "project" with the vendor's professional services division?
