Hello

i have a connection that is being made pretty quickly, but when i change the ip and try the connection i am not able to quickly go through the connection process and because its not happening fast enough the connection is being dropped,

how can i verify that reverse dns is working and that settings are right

I am not sure is I understand the question correctly.

You are asking how you can verify that the IP address that you look like on the internet has a PTR record created? and how to test it?

From a PC on the internet you can do

ping -a x.x.x.x

replace x.x.x.x with the ip address and if it returns a name then the reverse dns is working.
