WARNING: BOOT variable added, but not a valid image

Hi Dan,

The warning indicates that the image you referenced in your boot variable is not valid and thus will not boot properly. You'll see this if the image is corrupted or did not transfer correctly. I would suggest downloading a fresh copy of the image from cisco.com and verify the MD5 hash before transferring it to the ASA's flash. Also, if you're using FTP, make sure that it transfers the image in binary format, rather than ASCII.
