WCCP ASA Ironport

We care currently using an ASA5505 as our firewall and redirecting web traffic to a S160 Ironport. Recently the web fitler stopped working and the only way to get filtering again is to reset the redirection.

My questions are:

1. Is there any available log information to find out about the WCCP process and maybe way it stops?

2. Are there keep alive packets or anything of that natural between the ASA and Ironport?

Regarding question number 2

2-The ASA and the Cache Engine(Iron port)keeps the communication by sending keeps alives but this ones are really week( I am here, I see you)

now regarding why the webfilter process stopped I am not sure, I know there are some logging messages related to WCCP events as for example:

332001: Unable to open cache discovery socket, WCCP V2 closing down.

But It would be a better way to troubleshoot the Iron port itself.
