hi all,
i have question i had cisco pix 505 and asa for vpn connection.when telco circuit is down what should be in logs
will they indicate me if circuit is down
if yes what would log say

This could be a tricky question if for some reason the telco was down but the ethernet was still up for your device you might not really see anything you could do some ping tests from your ASA but the ASA won't tell you much. You probably wouldn't see any inbound connection states or traffic statistics.

You wont see anything in the log unless you have ISP link connected to the ASA interface directly which usually is not the case. You have a router on the outside of the ASA. You can use command 'show crypto isakmp SA 'to see if there is any active SA between your ASA and the peer.
