Writing memory on CISCO ASA/PIX

Hi Folks,

Just like to clarify on something, i heard that when we perform write mem on the ASA/PIX. the current TCP sessions that passes through the firewalls will be dropped or terminated.

Is that true/myth?

It's totally a myth.

"Wr mem" is just saving the running configuration to memory, and it will not drop any sessions.
