Cisco Unified CallConnector Installation and Configuration Webinar

Cisco is pleased to announce a 120-minute online seminar that will provide technical instruction on the installation and configuration of all software components for Cisco Unified CallConnector (UCC) for MS-Windows, including UCC Personal (client), UCC Server, and UCC Mobility.

Cisco Unified CallConnector (UCC) for Microsoft Windows provides a fully integrated communications management solution with desktop call control, Presence (availability of each user), and Mobility for customers using Cisco Unified Call Manager Express (CME) platforms, including the Cisco Integrated Services Router (ISR) and the Unified Communication 500 (UC500).

This application suite is focused on user productivity for managing daily business communication activities. Cisco Unified CallConnector for Microsoft Windows includes an embedded toolbar within the commonly used Windows applications, Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer, to provide convenient access to UCC features, which include the following:

  • Easy-to-use toolbar that includes directory search, call control, and Presence and Mobility options
  • Unified access to directories (personal and corporate) to quickly perform a range of communication tasks, including quick dial, sending e-mail or instant message to a selected contact
  • Click-to-Dial from any application, including Webpages, by highlighting and clicking on a text embedded telephone number
  • Inbound/Outbound call screen pop with contact name and clickable call control options (eg., take the call, send to voicemail, etc.)
  • Options for setting Presence status to display availability, location, and notes for co-workers
  • Options for setting Mobility preferences to provide flexibility of single number reach functionality

Who Should Attend

This seminar is targeted for sales engineers with Cisco Value Added Resellers who perform the customer installation support for the Cisco Call Manager Express suite of products.  Typically the Cisco Value Added Reseller will have qualified for Advanced Unified Communication, Unified Communication Express or SMB Select certification.
