3750 cross over cable

Hi I have two 3750G switches that I need to uplink to each other…I’m using a crossover cable but they won’t link any faster than 100 is it possible to get them to link at a 1000 with a crossover cable?

Re: 3750 cross over cable

Are you using a regular cat5 crossover cable?

You need a gigabit crossover cable a shown in the pinout at this link:

If this helps please rate my post, thanks.

Re: 3750 cross over cable

The 3750 supports MDI/MDIX so you don't need cross-over cables to link 2 together. I assume you have a G version of the 3750 so all the ports are 10/100/1000 - either that or you have a GLC-T SFP. With the GLC-T you can still use a straight cable thoug.
