ASA 5510 with ADSL connection

We have a small remote site with 30 users. It is connected to the internet via an ADSL ATM connection. We have installed a Cisco 2800 router between the ADSL and the ASA5510. We only have 1 IP address so the Routers external interface uses that. problem we are having is using the Site to site vpn as the local peer is behind the router using a private IP address. So the question is do we really need the router to terminate the ATM connection or can I remove the router and use the ASA 5510 directly connected to the ADSL router.

Many thanks

Yes, You can do.

But try when offline or non production time. Because it will take time for rerouting and etc.
