The new banner does not have any Carriage Return,but it is a long row of characters.

I cannot find out why some Cisco 1841s, when configuring in input (copy and past) the new banner (banner login ^C), do not accept the entire banner, but they cut the last part of it.

All Cisco1841s are using the same IOS version.

because in the config you have two delimiting characters ^ and C

in input (copy and past) - requires only one delimiting character

Nope!

I tested it as per your suggestion, but it does the same think!

Entering in "banner login" configuration mode it seems there is a limit to the input buffer per each row!

Strangely it works fine for some 1841 Router!
