Can anyone help me? I have this type of problem on my 2811 router:
System returned to ROM by bus error at PC 0x422BFEEC, address 0xEF4321D5 at 19:54:22 Tbilisi Mon Nov 8 2010 System restarted at 19:57:07 tbilisi Mon Nov 8 2010
it happens second time, first time it happened 1 week ago
I want practical answer and as simple as possible.
Thanks in advance
A bus error can be identified through the output of the show version command provided by the router (if not power-cycled or manually reloaded).
The first thing to do is to find out which memory location (also known as the "address" or "address operand") the router tried to access when the bus error occurred. With this information, you have an indication as to whether the fault lies with the Cisco IOS Software or the router hardware.
