I have this old 3524xl-en switch in closet, it was not in used, yesterday we new project and I start configuring switch but I can only access it thru consol, I have assign ip but still can not access it, any he help will be appreciated .
Did you assign the IP to "interface vlan 1" or another vlan? Is the "uplink" port that connects the switch to the LAN in the correct VLAN? Have you configured the correct VTY ports with the correct protocol/login ID?
Can you post the output to the command "sh post" please?
