We're putting a 1921 in a remote data center to replace an 1811, but we can't find out for certain if we need to order new
rack mount ears? It seems like we can use the ears from the 1811 on the 1921, but can't confirm anything.
Does anyone know if this is true?
As per the part number of rack mounting kits of routers are different like 1800 has ACS-1811-RM-19= and 1900 is having WS-C1924-XL-EN (STK-RACKMOUNT-1RU) for rack mounting kits , They can connected with each others screws but the original fitting will not be there as if like when they mounted with there original kits.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
