Cisco E3000 and AT&T U-verse

So I ended up purchasing an E3000 to extend the U-verse network that we have currently in our house. My ultimate goal was to have two routers operating, one with DHCP on, one with DHCP off, and use the E3000 to connect some network storage. The main router is the 2Wire that came with the U-verse setup. I connected the E3000 on 192.168.1.2 through one the set top boxes in the house and then into the ethernet port on the E3000. Whenever I do this, I can connect the E3000 to my laptop using an ethernet cable and I can reach the internet. I get an IP address, everything works fine.

But when I try to connect wirelessly, no dice. I get a connection timeout every time. I have DHCP and NAT turned off on the E3000. Anybody have any ideas? I've been at this for a couple hours.
