I am trying to commission a new Router, details as above.

I have read all of the instructions and carried them out and heres where I get to:

Cisco Router Web Setup page about a 1/3 appears of it appears on the screen.

A 'popup' box appears Checking the Router Model, IOS Version and IOS Features, I get to this point in under 1 minute then it just hangs with the blue progress 'Checking' bar just looping, 60 minutes is the max I have left it for.

After a while the ADSL tx and rx lights flash quickly and do not stop until the router is shut off.

OK light is on

CD light is on

Ethernet lights work

Using the Console connection and hyperterminal I am unable to get a connection, what is the correct set of settings.?

I would be grateful for a pointer or two.

OK,

Its sorted.

I downloaded Netscape V4.79 and it worked where Firefox and IE would not.

After sorting out one or two other small issues it is working fine.
