I will be working on the project where all the 7962/7942 IP phones will be configured as SIP in CUCM and centralized SIP trunking will be used for inbound/outbound PSTN calls. During WAN failure, local remote site gateways will be converted to SRST for outbound and 911 calls.
Now my questions is:
1- i need to configure the SRST gateway locally on each remote site so all the SIP phones can register to that gateway during wan failure. What gateway protocol should i be using to support SIP phones in SRST?
2- How i can simulate both in SRST and not SRST case for multicast MOH as i want to run MOH from local router flash as Multicast MOH while all my phones are SIP?
