I am starting my wlan project, I have a few questions, firstly I have got my main network on a 172.30/16 network, my wlans are to go on a 172.30.10/24 ip address, I am using vlans on my layer 3 switch for the wlan and then want this to see my local router which all the other clients connect to ? can someone tell me a simple setup for this, I was going to create vlan on switch with gateway for wlan clients, whats the best way of getting this traffic to my router, create a layer 3 port or just put the router on the /24 ip, plug it into the same vlan and route to this from the switch ?
