May I know is there any counters in the "sh interface" that will not be cleared by the clear counter command ? I think "total output drop" is one. Can anyone verify ? good if anyone can share any cisco doc that show this.
The clear counters command clear ALL the interface counters.
Please see the attached file which lists the show interface command and after the clear command issued, you can see the output show interface command, all the interface counters are cleared.
