Re: dns servers

When you register your domain name, you must put in two name servers that will resolve your domain records.

Re: dns servers

Yes try to google "domain registration" and you will find lot of companies offering this service

when you register your domain you need list two authorative DNS servers for this domain - with webhosting this service is offered by webhosting company but you can setup your own DNS servers..

Requested are two DNS servers with two public IP...

For example Cisco is using ns1.cisco.com ns2.cisco.com

On servers you can easily add/remove manage subdomains..

If you dont have public IPs and DNS servers you can use services like http://www.no-ip.com/

hope that helps rate if it does

Re: dns servers

So If I was to use my own dns servers, do I just need to add a host on there with a name and ip or do I need to do anything else ?
