QoS using 802.1q user_priority bits

I would like to know how to configure QoS in a layer 2 network using the user priority bits in the 802.1q VLAN tag. Any comments or document references would be great.

That's quite open ended. Which type of switches are you talking about. Basically it's called CoS (Class of Service) and you have values 0 - 7 to work with.

CoS on catalyst switches is very switch dependant. If you let us the know the type of switches involved we can point you to some docs.
