Hi,

What is the accepted value to provide enough clearance with the front door of a data cabinet when using say a 3560 with SFPs and fibre?

Thanks

Ray

A good cabinet would have about 3-4 inches of clearance from a rack mounted catalyst to the door.

(ie: hp/compaq, dell, apc)

Fiber can take bending to a point, just be sure not to 'kink' it.

In good fiber of today, you can have a bend in it comparable to wrapping it around a pen/pencil, without damage to the glass strands.
