Hi,
If we are using multi mode fiber across connections, should we use GLC-SX-MMD?
Please correct me if this is not right.
thanks in advance.

If the fibre running across is single mode, should we be using GLC-LH-SMD on the switch sides?
You should be using GLC-LH-SMD at BOTH SIDES.

This GLC-SX-MM transceiver can connect the two switches over multimode cable. The distance between the switches will depend upon the type of multimode fiber being used.
