I have an ASA 5505 in a very simple setup with just 3 vlans - mgmt, internet and LAN. I have some servers in the LAN.
Since I have started using ASA 5505 (I had an untangle firewall before), I noticed thart SSH'ing to the servers on the same LAN has a 'latency' of 10seconds, whereas if I ssh across the internet, it is instantanous - therefore the problem must be within the firewall.
Can someone help me troubleshoot what I may be doing wrong?
PS: As I have stated before, when I use the untangle firewall, the ssh to the same LAN was immediate.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
