The absolute simplest IGMPv3 network?

I am going nuts, I am supposed to test my IGMPv3 software, I have a 3750, 3825 and 2821 plonked on my desk to do this.

The 3750 does IGMPv2 ok, but does not seem to do full IGMPv3, leaves are very slow.

I have played around for a couple of weeks now with all those nice simple examples that say 'ip pim sparse-dense-mode' etc... it never works.

So what is the very simplest network I could make, could I just do it on the the little 100MB switches built into either router?

I am hoping here for a script that I can just blindly type in, no matter what addresses etc, I will change the rest of the world to match :)

It is advisable to enable "portfast" on the switch ports connected directly to the HSRP router interfaces. Also it is advisable to hard code the switch ports to permanently match the routers speed and duplex settings.

The main benefits of this feature are that it provides minimal leave latencies, faster channel changing, and improved diagnostics capabilities for IGMP.

I don't know what your network layout looks like but you could easily just enable ip multicast-routing globally, ip pim sparse-dense mode and igmp v2 or igmp v3lite on each interface. You can also setup a ACL for ip pim ssm to add a layer of security for your network range your using for multicast traffic.
