How to span vlans which are created on cisco 3750 with dot1q trunk to 3com 3300 and 4400 swicth ? is it possible anyone one has come accross this sceniro
Cross platform trunking can be done. Just create the vlans as on the 3Com switches and use dot1q as the trunk encapsulation. My last workplace had several different types of switches and we were able to trunk.
ensure both the end encapsulated with dot1q and native VLAN is same. it should work.
