Re: What is $de?

that generally happens in the terminal session - when the vty/con cannot display all the charcters on the command line. It can happen for a few reasons....I normally use another terminal editor other than hypterm....terraterm is a good one. Also the command "logging synchronous" is usefull in these instances.

Re: What is $de?

Hi Friend,

Very well explained by Andrew. The command is not $de but the actualy command get scrolled so the command I believe you have in your hyper terminal is

"ip nat inside source static tcp 10.10.10.28 80 xx.xxx.xx.xxx xxx"

so what is visible to you is from "de" and "ip nat insi" had got scrolled back.
