What is the difference between a train of T2 and XA?

Hi,

I have 2 1811 routers:

One has an image of:

c181x-advipservicesk9-mz-124-2.XA.bin

The other:

c181x-advipservicesk9-mz-124-2.T2.bin

What is the difference?

Also, the SDM GUIs look different between the 2.

Thanks

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

An X in the first position of the release name identifies a one-time release based on the "T" train..

This just means that is an early T-train (technology train) release..

The T2 release will have bug fixes and additional features to the XA release.

Hope that helps .. pls rate posts that are helpful.

Regards,

Paresh,.

thanks much

Hi Charlie,

You may also want to compare features unique to both these release and also the common features on the Cisco Feature Navigator. (http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/Dispatch)

Tnx,

Satya
