Wireless Network signal

I have set up and configured a basic WLAN in my home, the problem is that when i try to connect i keep getting low signal and then kiked of the network when it gets too low even though i could be sitting right infront on the box is there anything i can do to bosst the siganl

Hi

If you are trying to use the client just in front of the AP, then I suspect a hardware failure in either AP or client.

The possible solution is to replace each and see.Contact your vendor.

Hi

(1)Please check the antenna's pigtail.It may have been detached from the antenna.

(2)Pls give the name of equipments you are using.The AP and the client.

(3)Are you using internal built in card or an external PCMCIA card?

Hi JD the antenna is fine i check that today the equipment is belkin 54g wirless cable router and im using an external pci card to recive the signal

Turns out when i took the AP back and i got a new one it was fine thanks for your feedback
