I rolled back to the autonomous OS and all ok and AP operates as normal. When on the lightweight IOS I can get a telnet response but cannot access as it states Password require but not set.
Followed this process to upgrade
http://news.mali77.com/index.php/2011/10/upgrade-autonomous-to-lwap-cisco-access-points-via-cli/
and followed this process to restore to Autonomous:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-8091
I have no idea why it's not working. Anyone else seen this?
Thanks
Dave
Update: Just tried another AP same result.
Downloaded Lightweight again and same result
Here is the CLI upgrade process

Never seen this happen before.
But the WAP is able to join the controller and download the correct IOS, so far, so good. But try to let it join and download the config, that's another question.
