1142 LWAPP Crashed into ap: prompt

Hi guys,

I have a 1142 AP which crashed and showing ap: prompt when logged in via console.

The AP supposed to be connected to the 7500 WLC.

The LED is blinking red and blue.

When tried to recover using the set IP_ADDR command,its no accepting. Here is the output I am seeing. Anyone seen this before? Pls help.

The system was interrupted or it encountered an error

during initializion of the flash file system.  The following

commands will initialize the flash file system and finish

loading the operating system software:

    flash_init

    ether_init

    tftp_init

    boot

ap: set IP_ADDR 192.168.1.1

flash:/env_vars.tmp: invalid argument

The filesystem containing the variables may not be initialized yet.

ap: set NETMASK 255.255.254.0

flash:/env_vars.tmp: invalid argument

The filesystem containing the variables may not be initialized yet.

ap: set IP_ADDRE 192.168.0.1

flash:/env_vars.tmp: invalid argument

Unable to get default router ip address: no "DEFAULT_ROUTER" variable set

Found the issue guys!

You just need to do this command prior to setting the IP addresses. Apparently my flash system was corrupt.

ap: format flash:

ap: reset

It's rare nowadays that someone answers its own question and he does it after more than one month.
