I have 14 unit of Air-AP1142n. No controller.
All unit were in a warehouse, each of the AP distance each other around 40m
I would like to use only 4 SSID instead of 14 SSID.
Is it Ok if I select
4 AP -> use SSID 1 using channel 1
4 AP -> use SSID 2 using channel 3
3 AP -> use SSID 3 using channel 6
3 AP -> use SSID 4 using channel 11
Is it OK? Can it be done??

You should only use channel 1, 6 and 11. So depending on placement, just try to spread the channels out.

Hey thanks for the reply.
So it can only have 3 SSID.
Then how about the radio? Both radio can be used same channel simultinously?

You can have multiple SSID on a given AP. Up to 16 I be exact. So each ap will be configured for a channel. So an ap configured for channel 1 can have up to 16 SSIDs. It's not one channel per SSID.

OK.
I prefer to have less SSID.
3 SSID is enough. I will spread it out the 14 AP and using channel 1,6,11.

Just remember that SSIDs have no correlation to the radio channel. The less SSIDs you have the better. 4 or less is what I like to see.
