I am working on a proof of concept to configure BYOD using ISE 1.2.1 and converged access 3850 switch and WLC. I was able to configure everything required for BYOD and even the Network Setup Assistant is able to get downloaded in the client PC but I get an error saying "Secure Access configuration for the "SSID" network Failed". But when the same configuration is done using a 2500 WLC, it works fine and BYOD process is able to complete. Is there any limitation in using a 3850 converged access WLC for BYOD with ISE 1.2.1? My ISE is stable I am sure, so is there any particular version of the switch that has to be used?
I also notice that the authentication sessions are not started on the switch when the interfaces are brought up. So, we do not see any authentications in ISE when wired clients try to authenticate.
