50mW or 100mW

hello

i have a cisco aironet 350.

in the documentation we find that we can config the transmit Power until 100mW but in the web interface (AP Radio Hardware) i'm limited to 50mW.

is it normal?

The U.S. version will do 100mW. Other countries have lower output power limitations. Was this unit built and sold for the U.S.?

no it's sold for an africain country

do you think these wireless things r not harmful for the health?

There are lots of studies showing the safety of low-power 2.4GHz systems, but the FCC requires that you keep total output power below 4 Watts and keep high-gain antennas at least 2 meters away from people.

can you change this limitation (50mw to 100mw) with ACU or whit other form?

No this can not be changed in the field, it can only be done in the factory via an RMA

If the card was first sold in a country that has the lower power then it can NOT be changed via an RMA

If you have purchased this in the US or another country that is allowed 100 mW then you should contact the reseller that you purchased it through
