Bit of a strange one. Earlier today my WLC locked up completely for management traffic. I was unable to https, ssh or console to the controller until I rebooted it. Wireless access seemed to be unaffected by the issue which is even more puzzling.
The controller is lightly used at the moment:
4 wireless networks (approx 1500 users)4 DHCP scopes (approx 1500 addresses across 4 subnets).
It looks like a possible temp issue (internal temp is currently +42C and falling) but I would be interested to know if anyone has come across the same issue?
Software Version 220.127.116.11.
Go to Solution.
Upgrade your controller to 7.6.120.X if possible.
It sounds like the Management IP Address has some ARP issues. Did you try to clear the ARP table?
Thanks Leo. Yes, one of the first things I did.
I am going to be upgrading to the latest software version also.
