I am Ra’ed Saad, a system design engineer. I'm interested in your 802.11n Access points products, and I would like to receive technical explanations in which I wish to have answers for the following queries:

  • •- Maximum VOWLAN call capacity under different parameters ( different codec, ..)
  • •- Maximum Coverage distance inside and outside.
  • •- Access point antenna gain.
  • •- Any special condition that we should be aware of.

Maximum VOWLAN call capacity under different parameters ( different codec, ..)

Look under "Call Capacity":  Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7925G Deployment Guide

Maximum Coverage distance inside and outside.

Depends on your physical environment.  If you have a WIDE OPEN SPACE then wireless signal can propagate around 40 metres in one direction.  Put walls (describe your walls), possible radio/channel interferrance (microwave oven, bluetooth, other wireless network nearby), etc.  and the values go down.

Access point antenna gain

Depends on the model of your access point.

Any special condition that we should be aware of

1.  Do a pre- and post- installation wireless site survey.

2.  Read the installation notes of the WAP.  There are "do's" and "don't" regarding installation.
