Hi all,
Can anyone tell me whether 802.1x standard is supported by Avaya switches or not?
Does 802.1x is only possible with cisco.

802.11x standards are for wireless networks..For wired network (from Access Point/Bridge eth port to Ethernet switches) its just a regulat wired ethernet connection..So 802.11x is independent of ethernet switches.

Aruna,
I believe you are taking about 802.1p/Q, Not 802.11b. If it is 802.11 wless then you got an ans from PATEL. 802.1p/Q (Priority/Trunk) is exclusiely supported by Avaya. (L2 COS). "ch ip-network-region x", where x is the net region.
Hope that helps.
