Re: Access Point IOS

Rcv is the normal recovery image. The mesh image is if you want to do mesh, but you can always run mesh when the ap joins the WLC. The rcv is what you want.

Access Point IOS

Hi Scott Fella,

I used AP 1602I-E and 2602E-E, with wireless controller 5508 (100 license).

Should I using software "SWLAP1600-MESH-K9" or "SWAP1600-RCOVRY-K9" to compatible with WLC 5508?

And what is different between both ?

Thanks so much

You need to tell us what the problem is.  We can't read your mind.

SWAP1600-RCOVRY-K9  IOS

SWAP1600-RCOVRY-K9  IOS Wireless LAN Recovery-should be used for Controller based deployment

AND

SWLAP1600-MESH-K9  Enterprise Wireless Mesh - AP1600I Controller-based SW Image-used for Wireless MESH deployments only
