AIR-CAP1552E: no L3 connection

Hello!

there is the problem with the new CAP1552

- it is connected to switch access port, where we can see its MAC address

- from cdp details we can also see its ip address

- dhcp server is configured on the router 2911, where we can see ARP and dhcp binding for the AP ip-address

All seems to be ok, but the AP is not reacheable by L3.

Ispite of this, from the controller log there are authentication failure messages with its ip-address

AAA Authentication Failure for UserName:<MAC>  User Type: WLAN USER

LED Signals:

Status blinking red/green, then blinks steady red

Uplink green

RF-1 green

RF-2 green

what can cause such kind of problem?

You need the 1552 ti join the WLC. Make sure you have the Mac address if the ap in the macfilter.
