Hello guys

I m not able to get to username/password prompt on AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 , eventhough the AP gets IP from DHCP adn register to controller , every thing works fine on this AP

could you pls help on this how to get to prompt# menu

Hi Ibrahim,

• Are you presented with a login prompt and is it booting up the IOS?
• Is the AP Autonmous or Lightweight?
• If it just a credential issue, are you ok to set the AP to factory defaults in order to set it to Cisco /  Cisco?

If its registed to WLC then enable Telnet/SSH on WLC global configuration Tab and also enter username/password on same page to access AP.

Once you enable above you will get the access via Telnet or SSH.

i m consoling to to this AP , i cant get to username/password prompt , i m confused why that happend??

thing is that i need to join this AP to WLC Manully

Can you paste an ouput from your AP booting via console?

Check if you are using correct setting for console access!!

• 9600 baud
• 8 data bits
• None parity
• 1 stop bit
• No flow control.
