Aironet - 1100series * Problem ip assinging through VLAN*

Hi,

In my scenario, there is a VLAN configured floor wise ie.,first floor as VLAN 2 and so on for 8 floors.

All the pcs are getting ips through dhcp server and ip helper configured in core switch.

Now in one of the floor Iam connecting Cisco Aironet for laptop conectivity.

When iam configuring dhcp in the AP ips are assigning but,it will give ip duplication in my network.

So,can you help me to configure the AP where it should assign the IPs which are binded in the Linux based DHCP server for the particular VLAN.

Thanks

To avoid dupliacte ip assignment you can reserve the ip addresses. This can be done with client-identifier command on the Access point.
